Lax Ready Catch & Cradle (Beginner)

To learn to catch a lacrosse ball, start with your hands in LAX READY as shown. Reach up to catch a soft lob pass from someone ABOVE YOUR SHOULDERS (this lob was a bit too high). Finish in a controlled LAX READY CRADLE above the shoulders (ready to pass, feed or shoot). Note: Most boys start to have hand-eye to catch like this at age 6.
