I like the new Windows 11 taskbar Weather widget, but......

I personally find the live weather content useful, but I do have three issues with it. If you have no need for it, you are also able to turn the feature off.

Keep an eye out for fresh content uploaded regularly.

I honestly don't like the widgets, so I have it disabled.

I disabled it in my windows 10. i don't like it caause it's big an gawdy! i do like that i get weather in edge without having to have the news feed turned on though. I don't like windows 10 start menu either so therefore i do use open shell!

I would be happy just to see the temp. My laptop displays it and so do my beta and dev Win 11 VMs. But, after the update all I see is the widget box and that's it on my desktop PC.

actually you can disable the weather widget in the setting app. go to settings > personalisation > taskbar > taskbar items > uncheck the "widgets" option
