I thought the i5 12600K would be even faster then the "old i9". This was interesting. :)

Some games profit from more core while others from higher frequency 👍🏻
That is what is happening here

there is still quite a lot people don't understand the reason testing CPU's and RAM on 1080p and on lower resolutions.
i think content creators should make more videos to inform people about these questions more often.in which resolutions should we test gpu, cpu and ram to see the difference between when comparing one to another.

My 10900k has beeen an absolute BEAST since i got it at release day soon 4 years ago i think? Sad to realize that its the absolute LAST REAL flagship from intel having 10 pure performance cores.

paired it with a 2080super, ran 1440p fine, then i got a rog strix 3080, smashed everything again, then i did a lil refresh on it, changed from a corsair h115i to a h170i elite 420mm rad, bought 4000mhz ddr4 cl18 to replace my 3200mhz cl19, while also gettting a 3440x1440p monitor, so the extra 2gb vram and 10-20fps was welcomed, the 10900k has no issues what so ever to push that 4070ti to 100% usage in most gmes.

It literally feels just as snappy and responsive as when i got it a few years back, no issues what so ever while playing AAA games while at the same time streaming in discord and talking, temps never reaches over 70c even while loading shaders, mostly hovers around 60-110w and 50-58c.

It has probably been my most fault free and stable cpu i've ever had, 4 years and not a single error, "knock on wood" LOL.

You gotta add in the fact that difference at 1440p would be little and at 4k would be near zero.

13600k might be a good upgrade for my 8700k then, will wait and see proper benchmarks when there out

Well, the 9900K vs 12600K video was enough for me, where the difference was very small and sometimes comparable.
For me, it's better to buy a 144hz monitor and set for example medium-high details in multiplayers, than here to pull the maximum fps from every game, where in 2 years 12600K won't be enough for some individual.

I have a channel where I test 3080 + 9900K and I couldn't even count how many times I was told that I have a bottlneck.
For me, even an 8700K can still produce 144FPS for like 3 years

Ya solo resta desarrollar un tipo de monitores que no dependan de pixeles en la imagen, que ya todo se vea realmente cristalino.

the P-core clocks are kinda low on your 12600k, it should be boosting around 4.8ghz

Less power, less heat, comparable performance

didnt you close vfr map in MSFS? i had more fps and more GPU usage when i close the VFR Map in MSFS!

Windows 10 does not optimally manage the E-Cores of the 12600K, and this results in performance drops in many programs. This makes this comparison unreliable.

Тест некорректный. Используется разная оперативная память и большая часть отличий в производительности в разных играх может зависеть от неё, а не от CPU.

Legacy Game Compatibility Mode is OFF on Alder Lake? Seems like uses E-Cores

10th gen was a re-re-re-revision of skylake 6th gen. No wonder you see a better performance on a current gen i5 compared to this 14nm+++ relic powerhog

It's a great video, we are waiting for the next one

I feel comparing things over 100fps/even 60 is redundant hahah.Cool vid though
