India has large companies but what india needs is global brand and innovation like Samsung, Sony, Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, TSMC, Suzuki, Hitachi, Mitsubishi etc.
I'm an Indian who've studied and worked in the US for more than 10 years and Americans have only heard of Javanese, Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese brands. India needs to build heron brand instead of buying them like Tata Motors acquiring Jaguar Land Rover.
