Comparing a 16yr old Jett riding his first season to a long established Forkner isn’t really a viable comparison. Jett’s best is above Forkners best without a doubt. Jett’s youth mindset has been maturing every year which has had him tone down considerably & yet he can still easily do a second quicker lap times than everyone else.
The thing with Jett that puts him a level above everyone else is his efficiency on the bike. While every other rider accentuates their style & overrides everything with style points Jett doesn’t. He keeps as quiet as possible on the bike, it’s these things that will keep him that step above everyone else.

putting it all in to perspective, forkner was beating jett when jett was 16-17 years old, forkner was suppossed to be kicking butt in the 450's by now and Jett Lawerence and jett Reynolds were supposed to be battling out 250's .
i honestly believe jett gave forkner that win when Jett clinched the 22SX title, i could be wrong but jett lawerence is in another galaxy compared to Forkner right now.

I agree Forkner on his day is fast, but Jett is consistent and that's what wins at the end of the series is staying healthy with consistent podiums. It Jett for me but I'm an Aussie so maybe a little bit biased. 🤔🤏👍

I have zero faith in guys who get hurt every season and leave races gates empty. In order to finish first, you must first finish. Lots of guys can push hard for one race then get smashed in a crash at the next because they push to hard. Being tough and able to jump up and start your bike after a crash is huge in this tough sport.

I think Jett might sweep the series. Last year it seemed like he could just magically go 2 seconds a lap faster than anyone else at will and the only time he lost was when he crashed.

Rob, what your saying isn’t out of question. Forkner can still get done!

I am keeping my eyes on Jordan Smith and Levi Kitchen for off the radar fast guys!

Jett appears to be on a whole different level. What he did at MXON on a 450 was ridiculous. This kid is freakishly good. We have an awesome few years coming up here. Chase is really just getting started. That Deegan kid is on his way. Good time to be a moto fan. 😀 not to mention Joe Shimoda, RJ Hampshire.

Yep Austin WAS fast but you can see obvious hesitation in his riding now and he's fighting dome demons. I hope he can get it together but also hope Jett sweeps west coast.

You can't count Austin Out but jet Lawrence is way Above Austin's riding ability Jet Lawrence is the rocket man

Jet belongs in the 450 class. Austin will unfortunately do what he always does. Pro Circuit racers are under a lot of pressure, and more often than not end up hurt.

This is all a bit sentimental for Forkner. He displayed some flashes of speed this year but Jett over the last 18 months has developed so much that he has leapfrogged most of the 250 class to the point where he is mostly in cruise control for nearly every moto. Jett will wrap up west and Hunter will grind out an East championship.

If Austin can get on a roll and get that mojo flowing, he's got a shot👍👊👍

Team Forkner.... because he deserves a championship. He has champion numbers but there is no denying that Jettson is very, very, very fast

Forkner has speed, but Jett has been getting stronger and faster every year. Forkner's time off last year will not help his speed. I think he can run with Jett until Jett decides to pick it up a notch.

Dude, Austin for sure can put together the title this year. Raw speed I think Jett has a slight notch on him but both have good starts. But don't forget, we got mcadoo coming in and he had great pace and consistency as year before injury. Also, Hampshire will be in there a bit to alter points and belive thrasher will be too. Pretty stacked group! I want suzuki on a podium! Haha.

Neither of them are the same riders they were in '19/'20/'21 tho and I think Jett is the only person that can beat Jett!!! I love Austin got mad respect for him as a racer and he's a kawi guy (my personal favorite brand) but Jett has been on an incline this whole time while Austin has been on a plateau with some slight decline spots. Last year was a good start for Austin but he just couldn't beat Jett and his injury wasn't his fault I believe he was gonna let Jett go and not push it but jetts mistake took them out it sucked. Austin is injury prone for sure and I don't see him and Jett racing 9 rounds without any incidents, I think Mitch should put Austin on the east to give him his best chance at a championship this year
