2021 BMW GSA 1250 TOP SPEED

I own a 2022 r1250gs and only recently done little interstate time. At 70-75 mph the bike feels right in it’s zone. Very comfortable and poised. Top speed is almost moot. I haven’t ridden over 90 since I was in my twenties and that was 40 years ago.

It’s interesting how the extra kit knocks a bit of power off compared to the r1250r - same engine

Sure I have to avoid dirt roads but my Kawasaki H2 SXSE is still walking at those speeds :-D

She ain’t built for top end speed! Sure an H2, will top 200mph, but try loading enough luggage and camping gear on it for a three week tour, and see how you manage at 200mph then 😅😅

where in the uk can you drive it at that speed ? max speed limit 115 mph

I got 137 MPH out of it, thats it, get it flashed you will get 140

I had 140mph on a old 1150rt. I'd never do it, but I'd like to think these big bores could do 150/160mph. My old gixxer 1100h does an indicated 175mph!!! And that's from 1987!!
