Another tip - avoid "clickbait" ads especially on Facebook. These ads are usually on the upper right screen on your Facebook page. I opened up one of those FB clickbait links by mistake and got

Encrypted - that means a file is locked by somebody or some process, and you cannot access, use, move, change, or open the file at all unless you go through the proper channels to "unlock" the encryption. In the case of ransomware, you cannot use the file until you pay the ransom to the ransomware hacker.
