Edit form fields in Adobe XD | 2021 tutorial

In this Adobe XD Tutorial I'll show you how to use the Anima plugin to create prototypes with working form fields.

The Anima plugin gives XD a lot more features, though as you'll see in the video it can be a little buggy, overall I've been really impressed with what you can do.

Forms don't always have to be boring, so you can use XD to create a form with a little more razzle dazzle and then Anima will allow you to bring it to life!

Anima also works with Figma and Sketch, so whatever your design tool you should be able to jump in and use it.

Thanks for the video :) As far as I can see, this prototype just requires you to put something (any arbitrary text) into the text fields in order for it to be successful....Are you able to set it up so that if the wrong username and password is entered, it hits the failure screen (i.e. so that you only get to the success screen if both the email and password are correct)?

Thanks so much for making this video. Answered what I was trying to do perfectly. I think the glitch of seeming like there isn’t options under text fields made me think I’d missed something.

Also how difficult is it to use this information in forms, to create a post for example. Or use login info to the create a profile to navigate app. Super newb at this, just wondering which things are do-able for me to do on my prototype and which are way out of my skillset haha.

I did the other link button in adobe xd and just wanna edit these form fields in Anima but then when I wanna preview in Adobe xd, the form fields in Anima can't work and it same when I wanna preview in Anima, the other buttons I did in Adobe xd not work. When I preview in browser send button doesnt work, it doesnt even show me "field is requierd", do you know why? I have done everything like you did.

Heey I dont know if you still read this. But I have a question. The process of the textfield and button works for me, but when i preview in browser it cuts my text. I have the texts "login", "e-mail" and "password" in my screen and it cuts the top of the text. Do you know why and how i can fix that?

what about tool tips? How do I do that? Can anima do that? When user hovers over the (i) icon, a toll tip appears.
