I might try your remedy as well. Someone with beautiful roses recommended to spray them with buttermilk but I haven't tried that yet.

So useful. Thank you. I never realised the devastation a single infected rose could bring to an entire garden. When we moved heer there was an old rambling rose in place. I bought more roses to compliment it and the garden. I found out the following Summer that the rambler was covered in blackspot. I treated it, or so I thought. The following spring my new roses had succumbed to the disease and I had a whole garden of disease to combat, and have been combating it ever since. I am definitely going to give your method a go and fingers crossed it will give more of my roses a fighting chance. I even lost half of my roses growing along tdhe trellis, opposite the rambler. Not sure if that was\ down to black spot, as I have read it rarely kills the rose, so maybe I am looking at some other disease in the soil. Theey were healthy and blooming beautifully one minute then dying the next. I am now growing my roses in containers. I would prefer them in the ground but can't take the chance on losing them as I love roses so much. Happy gardening 🙂

Just watched your video today and I'm wondering how this went and did it fix the black spot...I would like to try it.
