If you are a U.S. citizen wishing to sponsor your foreign-born husband or wife for a U.S. green card (lawful permanent residence), you will need to start the application process by filing a visa petition on Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative). You will mail this form (with accompanying documents and fee) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

If your spouse is currently overseas, then only after the I-130 is approved will your spouse be able to move forward with the green card application, using a procedure called "consular processing".

PART 1 questions 2, 3, &4.... if im filing for a parent do I leave these questions blank? because it only gives options relating to child but not spouse or parents. pls help.

The space you filled for ex-spouse should be filled with his current spouse and not ex. am I seeing it wrong? Does you actually know how to fill up these forms?? This is a sincere question.

I have a question
I met my fiancé in 2019 in TH. I applied I-129F in Oct 2022. May 2023 I went back to see my fiance again and Oct 2023 I received letter for more evidence and I sent it all. Nov 2023 I received a letter denied my case because of missing evidence from Oct 2020-2022 during covid situation that I didn’t go back to see him . What should I do next ? Thank you
