I just want to comment here and let you know what an amazing resource your channel was in helping my wife and I file our paperwork last year. From the time we sent it in, we had one minor request for more information, I forget exactly what it was, but we sent it in and were shortly approved thereafter, with no interview. Whole thing took less than 6 months if I remember correct.
Anyways, thank you!

ps: I wanted to hire some visa coach guy for $2, 200+ to do the paperwork for us, but my wife assured me we could get it done ourselves and I'm glad I trusted her!

Thanks a lot for making these videos! I have been watching and following your videos. I was hoping if you can answer some of my questions -
Under employment-based category, my husband got his green card in 2022 but then immediately the dates got retrogressed and my daughter and I (the dependents, derivative applicants) are still pending. Means, the primary got approved and got green card but his wife and daughter are still pending. We both have EAD and AP and are currently in United States.
Because my husband got green card, he filed I-130 for both of us in early 2023 and that is still pending. Almost two years and not approved yet. My daughter is 18 and not sure when the I-130 will be approved and the date is also not current under F2A. Can we file the I-485 while I-130 is still pending? Thanks a lot for providing any guidance in advance!

My wife is going to petition her parents by filing the I-130 form online. We are about to have our oathtaking for citizenship and once we get the certificate we will send the application right away. The only problem is that her parents only have 4days until their stay in the US to be expired based on the I-94 date. My question is do we need to file an extension of stay using I-539 OR can we file for the I-485 (change of status) already? Once I-485 is submitted, does that mean that they can stay in the US indefinitely or does that take effect once the application was received/ approved?

Very helpfull videos!!! But I still have a couple of questions. Should I apply for travel document and work authorization if I am filling for my parent green card? We do not have an urgent need for my parent to work or travel. Also, if I will file I-130 online, do I fille I-864 with I-485 and I-693 results by mail in one package?

What form must my spouse file? And my stepdaughter file? My step daughter is 9 yrs. My spouse want to be able to travel while waiting and work. Kseniya, I filed form I-130 on line about 18 months ago and it hasn’t been approved. I did receive a request for additional documents and already submitted it.
I also mailed a packet to USCIS with forms 485, 765, 864 and 693 in May 2023. The check for 1, 140 was cashed by DHS on July 24, 2023. I didn’t receive any receipt for these documents and have not heard anything from USCIS about receiving them. I’m absolutely freaking out now. Could these been lost? What should I do?
Is form 130 online connected to the rest of the forms? Thank you
