Kudos on the words about overtourism. I live in a small Florida beach town that has suffered greatly due to overtourism to the point that over half of locals that lived here 14-20 years ago have moved away for various reasons like overcrowding, increased cost of living, etc. It's sad.

Great video! But please remember that helping local businesses is also staying in short term rentals! Short therm rentals are mostly owned by families so it's their main source of income since the 2008 crisis.

For staying in Lisbon I can really recommend good morning solo Traveller hostel!! It’s amazing!! They have an all inclusive rate with all food and drinks included even beer and sangria! And it’s super cheap!!
