Thank you for the detailed review ! It caught my attention because I used to watch the Japanese Samurai TV series called "Kozure Ohkami" (English translation "Lone Wolf and Cub") from 70's. Love Grogu's bun.

Not much of a SW fan myself, but the figures in this series looks freakin’ amazing! I absolutely love the samurai style on them and I think its very suitable for the theme itself. If I was to collect any SW related figures, then this series would be it for me.

Here is some history of the katana sword for you, buddy 😅

And yes, the «katana» is the longer sword of the pair used by the samurai, making the shorter one the «wakizashi».
I’ve seen some different names for the short sword as well, «daishõ» being one of them.
As for the «wakizashi», I’ve also read that «tantõ» is another name for it. As true as that may be, I still think that the «tantõ» is more of a knife rather that a actual sword, due to being in the similar size as a knife.

Sorry for getting all enthusiastic about the japanese swords, buddy, but Im absolutely in love with them 😅 When ever I see someone wear or hold such a beautiful piece of art the wrong way, I feel like giving them a proper slap across their face 😂 The edge should always face up, dammit! And when passing the sword to someone else, you pass it over with the edge facing towards yourself. Touch such an amazing piece of art with greasy or dirty hands, and you deserve to have them chopped off, in my opinion 😄 Respect the craftsmanship and the sword!

The way those swords were made just amazes me so much. Wish I had a real genuiene set of the katana and the wakizashi swords displayed on a beautiful stand in my house.
