Many teachers focus on the method only and many like to focus on the logic also, although the video is 11 years old, the only one I found which gave a little of reasoning why we can equate both the equations. Well done

Just a quick clarification, I could do this with the equation of a circle instead of an equation of a parabola when required to find the point where a line and circle intersect? Can't see why not but just checking.
