Film Theory: Wall-E's Unseen CANNIBALISM!

Wall-E is one of my all time favorite movies, cheering me up even when I'm in the worst of moods. But the other night when watching it, between the many moments of manly weeping, I came to a horrible realization - Cupcake-in-a-Cup is People! IT'S PEOPLE! I mean where else would their food be coming from? Now you're saying MatPat that seems a little dark, maybe even far fetched; and, I wish you were right. But unfortunately, I'm here to prove it to you.

I actually found this cause my math teacher was watching wall-e with us and was like: "the smoothies are people, look it up" or some shit. I respect him

Imagine Disney watching this and being like: Oh I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just a coincidence.

POV: You’ve been watching a lot of MatPat’s newer videos, and you decide to revisit this one but are caught off guard by how long the theme song is.

You also forgot at the beginning, they were eating solid foods, not stuff in a cup, which further proves this theory, because they were originally eating solid foods, not humans, and now they're just sipping from a cup.

Disney: Makes an animated movie about a cute robot stranded on Earth thousands of years into the future.
MatPat: Cannibalsim!

My theory:
There must be a farm or greenhouse somewhere on the ship producing food and also oxygen for the ship. The humans wouldn't know about it, since the robots run everything. Dead bodies and feces would be used as fertilizer.

I love how no one ever seems to mention that Wall-E is the closest we are gonna get to a live action Pixar movie

What's more scarier is that the humans ended up going from real life to CGI

Disney/pixar: just trying to make an animated movie without mat-pat ruining it.

Matpat: YOU SHALL NOT

Man. You must have a weird search history

Also I realised, Wall-E was looking down on the Milky Way in one of the scenes, which means they left the galaxy after 700 years. That’s pretty advanced, so why didn’t they just go to the closest habitat planet, Proxima B which is only 4.2 light years away.

How dark do you want this theory to be?
Matpat: Yes

Anyone else notice that there is not a single elderly person in wall-e?

While everyone is taking a staunch stand against this theory, I'm just going to point out the funny irony at the beginning...
Potassium Benzoate is a food preservative, yes, and it's found in Diet Coke. Guess who's addicted to Diet Coke.

Well, there are a few things that were completely left out, so most likely the food comes from plants.

1. You still need to create Oxygen. Of course they could create Oxygen with water, but they would still need to deal with the hydrogen. Also they need to deal with the CO2 create by the humans. So either they just dump it out into space, leaving solid junks of CO2 floating trough space, or they have plants that use the CO2 to create Oxygen.

2. The calories don't just create themselves. A human uses calories just by existing. So with every "cycle" of a human dying, getting turned into food and than getting eaten until the consumer dies you will loose quite a lot of calories.

If we say that the humans are mostly inactive and are actually gaining weight we can go with an average intake of 2.500 calories a day per human (The average daily consumption over the whole life).
With a lifespan of up to 200 years like said we can go with 150 years.
So every human on board would need around 109.500.000 calories trough their whole life.

This would mean that to feed one human they would need around 1.368 dead humans (going from 80.000 calories per human).

So if we simplify this very much and say the food lastet the first generation of humans until their death and second generation also consists of exactly 600.000 humans than the third generation could only be around 438 humans.

So unless there is a human slaughterhouse on the ship that kills a lot of humans before their natural lifespan it is most likely that the dead body's are used as fertilizer to grow plants.
