so im gonna be honest here. Ive never really listened to Taylor Swift, i mean i knew who she were and such, but didnt know her songs or anything, since im a metalhead through and through. BUT. Ive always known she was an amazing guitarist and singer. But this song, Anti-Hero... holy h... its an amazing song. Its absolutely one of my favorite songs of all time.

OK look...I know some people in the music world have a problem with Taylor and her music. And I can agree, somewhat, that some of her songs can be a bit cloying. I'm a metal head, and see comments from other Metal head types making fun of her

But honestly? This song is yet another of hers that is SO GOOD. The lyrics are sad and poignant, and the melody is interesting to humm along with.

And she is a great live singer. A "singer" isn't just someone who can belt out huge notes - its a person who bears their soul and lets others connect with them. That is Taylor in a nut shell.

I'm glad that little girls (and us much older women) have someone to listen to who admits she feels flawed so that they can feel "ok" when they feel flawed too.

I never took any interest in Taylor Swift, before anti hero, but it is really a great song and this an amazing performance.
Knowing she is a singer songwriter it suddenly made me shiver, when I thought of Ian Curtis of Joy Division. His lyrics were obvious, in hindsight.
Taylor really sings about deep personal thoughts. Although she brings them with a cute smile, I sense a sincerity that should not be underestimated.
