I’ve got one of these and an RG35xx Plus. I still prefer the Plus overall. SP has amazing form factor but the backlight bleed is pretty bad on black/dark areas (at least on mine). You can make it tons better by fiddling with the pressure of the screws of the screen enclosure (underneath the rubber stoppers) but not perfect. Speaker also seems a bit crappier on the SP but as long as you’re using headphones it’s not really an issue. SP is absolutely superior if you want something to slip in your pocket though.

Extra tip: on either of these, replace the operating system with Batocera. It’s such a better experience. Also, whatever you do, replace the cheap sd card that comes with them. They will likely corrupt/fail with time.

I heard there is a newer version of this with easier to press buttons and less clicky. Newest firmware added sega saturn and newer retroarch version
