The last revolutionary iPhone was iPhone 4s. Apple died along with Steve Jobs

6plus shouldn't be on the list. The list really ends at the 1st iPhone

Actually, it should just stop in 2007 iPhone if someone created a hologram feature then that replaces the iPhone. We are still in the iPhone 2007 smartphone. (Big screen, multi touch, etc.)

Holy shit. I had the startac as a hand me down for my first phone and hearing the low battery sound again instantly transported me back to being a kid.

I remember keeping conversations short to save battery. So cool man.

iPhone hasn't been revolutionary since 2007

You should've included Samsung Note. Because it pretty much created the phablet territory.

The Galaxy Note also made a revolution on today's phones. The large display really made it unique from the other phones of its time

3310 would be the most of them all. Can't beat the 1 week no charging specially the Nokia 1100...

Nokia 1101, the first commercial phone to operate GSM networks

Sharp J-SH04 the first commercial camera phone

Sony Ericsson Z1010 first commercial phone with front facing camera

Hagenuk MT-2000 first commercial phone with a built-in game

I'm quite mad they didn't even get a honorable mention..

The phone I really miss was my Kyocera QCP3035.
Extremely compact, incredibly reliable, worked in cities and forests - because it had a retractable antenna that closed flush with the top when not in the sticks. The sound quality was great because it could be switched between digital (CDMA) and Analog (analog sounded like FM radio - because it was!)
(Analog was also handy in congested areas because the digital system would be overcrowded and few people wanted or knew how to go analog to get around it.)
I happily bought cheap replacement batteries for it and resoldered the charging jack twice before the carrier ended support for it after eight years!

#8 Should have been the very first Galaxy Note... Samsung was the only company who thought we needed a bigger phone. iPhone 6+ wouldn't exist if not for Samsung's balls

The Galaxy S7 Edge changed it...ALMOST
It's the best at nearly every category.
Display: Best. Twice as bright as the iPhone 7 Plus.
Speed: Noticeably faster than the iPhone 7 plus for the majority of people. The iPhone is noticeably faster at opening the majority of AAA games.
Design: Best. No competition.
Camera: Arguably the best. In general, it has no equal. Fastest autofocus with only one phone that nearly equals it (the Google Pixel (XL) whereas popular phones as the iPhone 7 (plus) are so slow at auto-focus in comparison that it feels like comparing an 2016 camera against an 2010. It has the fastest automatic shutter speed in combination with top-class OIS so say farewell (mostly) to shaken pictures at night while you are on the run (this camera nails stills, you can only challenge it when you are moving at night).
Microphone: Arguably the best. It depends on the scenario. Do you favor real-life experience? Then this is your choice. Do you favor studio-quality with emphasize on your voice? Either manually tune the gain-levels or use a proper mic for professional recordings.
Price: It's cheap dawg!

Last year, I had a VERY HARD TIME recommending the Galaxy S6 (edge). This year, the S7 Edge is all I recommend. It's simply lonely at the top of the hill, also thanks to the iPhone 7 Plus being a failure at many aspects (pathetic battery life, pathetic display, sub-par camera (blown-out highlights, too much contrast...iPhone 6S Plus does better imho (more balanced))).
