To find out just how exciting the British Rallycross Championship is shaping up to be, we drive the Citroen C4, being driven by Nathan Heathcote in this year's Championship, in a team run by the legendary Liam and Pat Doran. The location is the fantastic Lydden Hill circuit in Kent, home to two rounds of the 2017 British Rallycross Championship, and the UK's only round of the World Rallycross Championship.

Man I need to start watching Rallycross. I had no idea the cars were this powerful.

Rallycross is great because it takes the old retired WRC cars and basically unleashes their full potential (or a lot more than what they would be allowed to run in the WRC), so we can get a glimpse of what modern-day group B would be like...

That's my ideal road car :)
Maybe another seat and some padding is needed.

Citroën should build some of these for everyday use

Rallycross is good fun to watch but I wish the races were longer. At least the semis and the final.

Always wanted to do a rallycross conversion, worked out about £60k for the 600bhp package.

"lets try full throttle" and shifts at lowest rpm possible, WHY?

something isnt right, 900lb/ft from 4000-6000 RPM??? Then the math doesnt work for 600hp... if that were true, then the HP would be 685 @ 4000rpms and 1028 @ 6000rpm. It might make 900lb/ft at 3500rpm, which would equal 600hp, but no way, mathematically or otherwise is it making 900 at 6000rpm... IJS, c'mon guys.

The TQ in a fookin 2 litre is beyond this shit will move from 0-200 (0-125mph roughly)

900 ft lbs from 2.0L?? Understand it's turbocharged....but still!!

Thank you for using lb/ft and not "Nm"

Nope, 900lb/ft @6000rpm would result in 1028.8hp. 900lb/ft @ 4000 gives 685hp.
So its probably not 900lb/ft. Not even 900Nm would make sence as it would be 760hp @6000rpm.

I've just had 5 coffees and you still manage to put me to sleep with your boring reviews. No you'll never do Top Gear.
