Just a heads up warning DC if you get the Mafex Iron Man then beware of paint chipping on the thighs when you put the figure in poses. Because the thighs will slide against the waist so you’ll have to use the drop down hips to keep it from chipping

I'm glad Hasbro is releasing a more authentic IM and Proton Cannon combo, however I still look forward to getting the Mafex IM figure. Something about being able to see his eyes through the mask makes me think it will really stand out on my shelf.

Ohhh mafex candy...I pre order the mafex...and hope they bring their version of the modular armor...got the first release of the marvel legends modular armor...paint app diferent...so...I guess I'm mafex guy 4 life....great vid..as always...👌👌👌👌

The mafex blast effects can probabaly fit onto the holes of the proton canon but i'm not sure

The ml is the modular armour they released it before but with a super nice looking sh figuartsish metallic red and gold which looked amazing but fans wanted it in the classic bright red and yellow so here we have it!

The ml proton canon isn't painted it is molded in grey plastic

I like the ML because of childhood TV animated series.

Normally for me ML can’t come close to Mafex figures. But this is a different case. I’m going with ML because since I live in the states the Mafex will be almost twice the price of the ML with or without tax & shipping. And while I like the finish of the Mafex proton canon better, the ML looks more accurate in sculpt and size to the MVC canon. Not to mention the ML has the modular armor in the brighter colors, as well as the nostalgic 90s toybiz packaging. So I see more personal value with the ML offering.

Though I will admit, if Mafex had offered the Modular armor instead of the classic armor I probably would’ve gone with that one lol.

The proton canon from Hasbro is better looking than the one from Mafex (size and accuracy to the original design). It might need a repaint though.

I'm waiting for iron man Mafex, but I'll not buy the hasbro one because in Europe costs 70 euros, too much for a figure not more of 40-50 euros, and it's a repaint of modular armor

Tony actually had long hair back in the day so that's why the new marvel legends Tony Stark head has long hair for some reason the eyes on the mafex one look odd the ml looks good because they use the photo real printing tech for the eyes and the whole face actually

For me in Germany the Mafex Iron Man is very expensive. Its 170€...so i think this time i'll pick the ML Version.

I am pretty sure that the iron man the animated series sdcc marvel legends exclusive has a better proton cannon than the mafex version hell his design is right straight from the video game marvel vs capcom games pal.

Im satisfied with my Marvel Legend I've already seen a video comparison and its pretty much identical. But I think I get the Mafex Comic Cap(maybe it depends if I got extra money LOL). Bcoz I dont like the ugly gap Abcrunch of ML Cap.
