All my Furla, Coach and Carolina Herrera bags are in their own dust bags, with stuffed paper inside (the one that already comes from store). But there's a catch: that way they occupy much more space in the closet.

I have also recently been told to store the laying down so they can take a gravity break. Larger softer Birkin tote kind of bags that gravity eventually causes those bottom creases

Yes, the information is very useful. I do own 3 Marc Jacobs tote bags, 2 made of canvas and cotton and 1 made of leather, and i treat them all the same, even though the leather one cost me more than 2 canvas together. You really need to put something inside of them just to protect their own form if you are not using them . To fill them up, i use small pillows( i have bought them in shopping center) and i have put them inside my bags and their shape is really regular, but dont put too many cs then they be too heavy. I store my bags into my closet, but every day, i open me closet just to let the air to go in, but not the sun light . You really got to refresh them with some air, not just letting them in the dark for a long time because sometimes the materials can get sweaty, and last i use plastic transparent dust bags for my 2 canvas bags, and for my leather one, i use a cotton dust bag ( since its leather you should be more careful). And most importantly, you got to use your bags, literally, dont keep them as souvenirs. I use my large leather bag a lot on my trips, i put inside my essentials or some small things and is looking very good after 5 months that i have purchased. My 2 small canvas bags i use it on my job, put some paperwork in them, and they still are very good . I boguht them almsot 1 year ago both at the same time, one is black and one is like a dark green. I literally treat them like my babies. I do love them so much🙈.

I store my two birkin bag (black leather and gold leather) in original dust bag. A years i've got them, and never had any problems

Almost, I have heard that you should not keep it in the box because the leather can not breathe, is that true?

I know I store my bags correctly w/the exception of the Trendy CC. It's on a hook and suspended so it's not resting on it's bottom. The hook is covered in thick bubble wrap to protect the handles from impressions. But what about the stretching of the handles? 🤔

I literally put my bags back in the box like the day i bought them and opened them. I have so many of those little bags that absorb moisture scattered about in draws and wardrobes. They are very cheap on amazon. I keep the ones which come with bags in the box. I regularly get my bags out and put them on the bed to breathe for the day. Like once a month depending on what ive been using the least

No mention about how to leave the straps? Too many people store their Neverfulls with the straps upside down against the sides of the bag (which causes cracking to the leather)when they should be wrapped inward, cross-crossing the top of the bag. Chanel chain straps need to be stored in a pouch inside the bag, so not to dent the leather lining, and the top of the bag should be protected by a felt pad to keep the straps from denting the top of the bag. This goes for any bag with chain straps, actually.

Do you guys really sell the black dust bag with your brand on it? I really need a dust bag for my speedy 40 😭 all the ones I have purchased have been too small and tight for it, I want it to be able to have room inside, I think I’m looking for one for like a duffel bag? Maybe a 50?

I don’t like the orignal dust bags. I use a semitransparent fabric dust bag. I prefer to be able to see which bag is which. as Dolce&Gabbana’s loyal fan, if I use the original dust bag, I’d just be looking at 19 identical dust bags that all shape like a Sicily bag…

I tecentkt bought a small crossbody bag. Its made of leather. Due to space cruch in getting them to my city, i stuffed it, didnt realise at the time, but overstuffed it. Its not lost shape as such but u can tell it was overstuffed and the leather has becone soft.
Its still new, not used even once.
Do u have any suggestions on how can i get this fixed

My MK leatger bag has some zipoer issues, a new bag, didnt pay attention while buying it. What can i do for that. Im from india. Dont think they have an MK store here.
