My edge developed a huge amount of stick drift seemingly overnight. Just a few days after my 12 month warranty expired.. I'm now left with a £220 paperweight, because the replacement stick modules are always out of stock everywhere.

It's an outrageous scam. They were the biggest selling point for me.

Hey! So i was testing with the sensitivity for Call of duty with linear response curve and realize that when setting your ADS Sensitivity Multiplier by 1.0, Which shouldn't increase or decrease the sensitivity when aiming, it becomes a true linear and shows the base sensitivity without added speed to it, but when hip firing/looking you get look acceleration which becomes faster than the current sensitivity you have on, Which could explain why Linear feels off compare to Apex which uses a real Linear curve (its the hip fire acceleration that makes cod linear feel inconsistent due to not having an option to disable it manually like other games)

I get a problem all the time saying my stick modules aren’t attached properly and my controller turns off and takes a few times to turn back on. The sticks are properly attached and I don’t know why this keeps happening, any tips?

If you get the correct replacement potentiometers you need to replace the white piece “before” the metal contacts wear out before they wear away and turn into a sharp point which will destroy the black layer on the green potentiometer part. If you open it up and you can see bright metal through the black then you need to change the green part too. You need a magnify glass to see the damage on both pieces. There are two contact arms on the white piece on the inside. Those are the pieces that wear away first. So change them early

Yeah real pity the (original) replacement modules are out of stock for so long...going on about 5-6+ months now. The whole selling point in having us pay the exorbitant price for the Edge was being able to purchase and replace a module if or when became necessary. I can't believe Sony would have us in such an out of stock situation of the modules for so long.

BTW, thank you for posting including this 1:09 showing how to adjust stick sensitivity/deadzone. I couldn't remember how to get at it. I was searching high and low before. It slipped me that it must be made via a custom profile. Cheers.

Bro I tried some of your tips but I still have stick drift. Any suggestions? I switched the analog sticks and it was worst because my character was flickering to the left (cod player). I cleaned it and tried playing around with the deadzone setting which what I need the most help with in my opinion. I don’t know how to set it so it can offset the stick drift. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated!!

I’ve been trying to get a new module for almost two months. I sent my controller in for repair and it cost $38 for shipping. I bought a regular dual sense which cost $100 so I’m pretty irritated atm. Why did they stop making them?

I watched your video about how to make the edge feels like a normal dualsense, but i didn't feel any difference between steady -5 and the default, i tried it in xdefiant, could you check that game and the sensitivity curves and settings of that game?? Would be much appreciated.

XDefiant came out can you find out how much lower ur vertical supposed to be than horizontal bc vertical feels faster by a lot than horizontal

PlayStation Direct has the stick modules back in stock finally. I just bought two of them last night.

There is another solution, buy a dual sense edge controller, switch the modules with ones that drift and return it. Amazon will accept the return, I waited MONTHS for them to come out with more replacements modules and finally just did what I said. Order a dual sense edge switched them out and returned it no problem.

I love your videos! YouTube last week screwed me up with their closed captioning being completely in another language. I have bad hearing and have issues sometimes understanding what you’re saying due to your accent especially since your content is sometimes very technical. I bought this controller for the back buttons and found that putting them in opposite positions helpful. What I really need is a way to give the sticks tension like a screw it would probably stop most of the causes leading to stick drift.

Here in Australia you can find stick module to any store that sells the Edge..never heard of shortage here.. 🤣
