I think the best way to learn is to show how to use features by building a spreadsheet in such a way as the viewer can build it along with you. Break it down. Build one with formulas, one with charts, but actually build it.

Nice work, but you seem to have forgotten something. Numbers is a spreadsheet program. Spreadsheets are primarily used to organize information... like numbers. It would have been very helpful to see how to use formulas and any possible interaction between different Sheets.

Quick question: I’m in the personal budget spreadsheet and want to add a another category in my “Category” column. However I can’t figure out how to add to the already preloaded list. Is there a way to add another category to the preloaded one? For example they already had: Auto, food, entertainment, home, medical, personal items, etc... How about starting with a simple x/y spreadsheet and how to enter and name the x/y values first. All the other fancy stuff comes after the basic data entry. Sorry this tutorials did not help at all.
