8:04 the Arc-170 itself does actually have a very slight sag to the wings, so this is more accurate than if they were flat

Clear backed stickers have their own issues because air/dust can get stuck under them and end up looking awful.

It just feels like the rose tinted goggles are on in full effect, even coming down to saying the stickers on older sets were better (which btw, clear backed stickers are still used today)

7:19 These are supposed to be windows and if you see the 2005 one, they had a clear slope piece with the frame of the window printed in. So you would see through the slope at the minifig hands when there was a pilot inside.

I think I'm going crazy. I got this set, but I don't remember ever getting an Astromech droid with it. I don't even remember it on the box. All I remember was Kit Fisto and the two pilots.

The original arc170 set was my first lego set, I got this one on release too, guess I need to pick up the new one when it releases

I have both this and the plo koons starfighter. 2 of my favorite sets that go so well together!

Awesome to be getting all three pilots in this set (of which TWO are named which is awesome) and also to be getting more pieces instead of less is quite nice, hopefully the set stays around the same size with some more refined details (also I really hope the s-foil opening mechanism won’t rely on rubber bands 🙏)

This is a cool set and while I never owned this I always hated it didn’t include a 3rd pilot. Can’t wait for the new one as it’s my favorite ship in Star Wars
