Strumming Tips for the Frustrated Beginner | Matt McCoy

Thank you! After many years of trying here and there a little to learn the guitar, I have picked it back up again. Your little tips for beginners helped me get past the discouraged phase tonight of not thinking I have it in me to actually get good at the guitar. Helped me a lot and I’m singing and playing guitar quite few years. I think letting the strict rhythm move the voice, I can forget the guitar and focus on what I’m saying and singing. Big freedom of voice.

The only problem I have is, I put the guitar down 30 years ago..I'm back at it at 64 ..the brain to fingers is very slow. I have been at it for 7 months...the Lord will probably come right when I get it back but I would be happier anyway...it's a lot of fun though and just wanted to let you know...you are doing a great job...Blessings
