I'm especially interested in how easy accessible things are on the honda xl600 compared to the yamaha to make maintance easier.

I've an xt600e, same engine more or less. 200k km and is still running like new, only thing changed in the engine is a new piston.

The fuel pump is useless on the 1VJ. Just throw it out and plug the vacuum port

I would pick the KTM anytime. Yamaha is rubbish. The new T7 is worst. 😢
