There is no real difference between the roles esp in smaller companies. Cloud Engineers in SMB often combined DevOps Engineer duties esp building pipes. This is very common with smaller startup. Read many job descriptions and you will see a lot of overlap and duties and skillsets. The roles only become specialized if you work for a very large organization.
