5 OBS Tips to Improve Your Stream

If you have a Logitech Webcam, you actually can fix the low framerate of your webcam by installing the Logitech Webcam Software and disabling RightLight in the Advanced Settings under the Webcam Controller panel. You can even disable RightSound which filters the audio coming from the webcam. To identify your Logitech Webcam model, press Windows + X on your keyboard or right click your start menu. Then press M or left click Device Manager. You should be able to find the model of your Logitech Webcam under the Imaging devices tab. Once you know the model of your Logitech Webcam, go to the link below and find the model of your webcam on the website to download the software with your corresponding Operating System. Most of these videos should be taken with a grain of salt, especially when they use hardware that isn't even popular. Like, who has a Microsoft Lifecam?

MKV is useful for me as it will still have the file saved nicely even in the case of som crash or bluescreen.
then I use the Remux tool in OBS to convert them to mp4 later on for the editing programs to have a better time with them

Btw for anyone that dose not know, you don’t need an app to encode your videos. You just remux them after from obs.

for voice filtering, I recommend having Floor Fish since you can go more in depth on which frequency you want to suppress and can do a lot more tweaking.
you can use it by adding a VST 2.x Plug-in

How do you get to the "Video Properties for (Camera)" Screen with all the options for frame rate and light exposure adjustment? My "Properties for (Camera)" only shows device option selection, and latency options.

The audio tip should be more. Look into VoiceMeeter Banana & Potato if you aren't using it already. You can do everything you just showed in that software. It does require more setup but you can do much more.

OBS limiter isn't mean for distortion but effective for volume control.

i tried what you did with the different audio tracks. I did everything like you did. I made sure that recording is set to track 1 and 2, but my recordings only have my voice :(
