Sorry, this isn’t remote, but I am still banging the drum for senior because there is a critical shortage of in home senior care and it’s only getting worse as Baby Boomers age. Hourly rates vary from $15 - $25 per hour or more. Work for yourself and negotiate your pay rate, hours, schedule, services provided.

Well, it happened. The economy is in the crapper (yet again) but this time I am 60 and at least got offered a decent severance package. It is ironic because I am at the top of my game and have more to offer than ever before but I was just too easy to layoff compared to many other people who were also at my former government employer. I am lucky because I can ride this out until 62 and then collect pension. I have to downsize, but better that than take a McJob. I am now finding it is possible to have more fun with less money!
