I hope someone reads this:
When I first used the sponge daddy I loved it. It's is made up of 2 layers, one is a decent sponge, that gets up most (not all) water from around the sink, and a layer of scrubber that is good for light use and doesnt scratch non-stick pans.
Here's the problem: After you use it awhile, micro bits of plastic starts to come off. They're so small they don't get caught by the strainer screen I have over the drain. It sticks to my hands even after lightly rinsing. It's probably on my dishes too.
Hawaii just announce that baby fish caught in Hawaii waters was found to have microplastic in them.
It feels like this is just bad all around.
