My 1st Attempt at Comic Book Binding - TPB

Mixed results on my 1st attempt, although I am ultimately satisfied with the results.

Trimming was difficult. I used a slide paper trimmer I bought at Wal-Mart for $10 and trimmed the comics 1 at a time.

Keeping the comics aligned while applying the clamps was frustrating. The gluing mostly went well.

Making the cover fairly easy. I just used premium poster board and used a ruler to make the creases. I then attached the cover and back of the 1st comic in the collection using a glue stick...which did not go well. I did not use enough glue at 1st and attempting to add more glue after it is initially attached caused numerous problems. I ended up using tape.

I also did not care for the spine I created and have since changed it.

This is Justice Machine Vol 1 collection issues 1-15.

That’s very cool for a first attempt! I don’t have the steady hands for it or else I’d try. I send my to binderies, costs a bit.
