1. Critical Point/ Stationary Point: The point (x) for which the value of f(x) is maximum. @13:43.

2. Global minima: If the function is not bounded in any interval then the minima having lowest f(x) value is called Global minima. Also remember Global minima will come if at both end curve goes up. Using similar concept Global maxima can be obtained @21:00

3. Absolute minima: If the function is bounded in any CLOSED interval then the minima having lowest f(x) value is called Absolute minima. @23:50

4. If function is not differentiable THEN ALSO we can have maxima/minima. Eg:- |x| curve

5. Point 4 is also valid for a discontinuous function. Eg:- @35:50

6. Neither maxima nor minima/ Point of inflection. @43:10

7: Extremum. @44:44.

8. Necessary and Sufficient conditions explained: @46:36 onwards.

9. Graphical method: @54:10 onwards.
