My Rocks And Algae

I get a lot of questions about the type of rocks I have in my tanks, where I got them, and how I get the algae to grow like it does.

Hey, Super nice algae on them there (lol) rocks!
And some interesting thoughts on the reasons why.

The rock most prevalent in my area is balsalt. There's a Rock Landscape Supply company just a few minutes from my home. I'll get some and test your thoughts. Akso, my (the) water supply comes from an aquifer below the balsalt. I hope it works. I know it certainly won't hurt anything. Thx.

Hay mate I have the occasional white, almost hair thin worm, about 6mm I think long, being blown around by the filters, any ideas

Good job on the green algae. I can only grow brown algae on mine. Nice tropheus btw
