Symptoms
In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
Male-pattern baldness

Women tend to lose hair along the part.
Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.

Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:

Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.

Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.

People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

Turned 58 recently and can barely remember my 30’s at this point so don’t sweat it just enjoy the journey and take time to enjoy the small things . Hoping to come up with the confidence to try the hair system thing for a third time. Taking baby steps through counseling dealing with my insecurities and letting go of the hurt from the past and trying to finally be a better me and be able to embrace a brighter future.

I turned 58 this year and barely remember my thirty’s don’t sweat it just enjoy the journey and take time to enjoy the small pleasures. Ironically when I turned thirty i gave up on trying to keep what hair I had left believing I was old and no longer needed hair 😵‍💫😵‍💫😞😞. It was still slowly going regardless but I have always thought what if . I’am trying to come up with the confidence to try the hair replacement again. Taking baby steps with counseling and getting rid of my insecurities and letting go of the hurt of my past experiences and trying to embrace a brighter future.

Your doing better than myself at that age. I didn't start growing up til I was 30. I made changes by stopping weed, cutting down on drinking, quiting smoking, making my first try at a hairpiece, going to night school and starting university to work toward my dream job. All good changes and before I turned 30. But still not growing up or maturing in a significant way until Jesus came into my life. I was missing the spiritual growth that brings about real maturity. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone but it is a truth for me.

Wish hair systems were this easy for everyone. I’ve spent a small fortune on mine, first week was great. Now I can’t get more than 12 hours without extreme itching on the scalp, sores on the head from the adhesive. None of the scalp protectors help against sweat during sports. I’ve used all kinds of different adhesives, most recently I’ve been trying the hypoallergenic lines of walker. Still leaves sores.

It’s too bad, I remember when I first got my system, I thought I had finally fixed being bald. Less than 2 months later, I’m still bald, but with a chunk of cash out of my bank account.

I hope the world of hair changes for the better soon. The hair system route works for some, but certainly not everyone

Random question but what do you consider your "age group"? Because I find most people who turn 30 automatically think they are in the same group as people who are nearing 40. In reality, you're still in the same age group as people who are 25-29. Actually most age groupings have 25-34 or 26-35 as age groupings.
