I got this recently and this bike feels like something completely different than the e-bikes or road bikes we know. It can be a training tool to help one target your zones, it can be something that extends your rides i.e. allows you go further when riding. You still have to work, but your speed is amplified and therefore so is your range. Quite a bike!

I'm, perhaps, the first person in the world to buy a used SL Creo Carbon road. It was used once and the purchaser realized it was the wrong size. I got it for $5, 500, the size and color was the exact model I wanted. I should receive it by Christmas this year.
I was going to wait for springtime but, with this price and opportunity, I had to get it.

Everything about these bikes is fantastic except the price, it is unreachable for us mere mortals, but if I win the lottery I'm getting it for sure 😁

I'm 67 years old and presently ride a 2018 Giant Defy Advanced Pro 0. I love my bike, but my next road bike will have an electric motor. Unfortunately, it won't be this bike. $12, 250CAN for the cheapest version is WAY more than I would spend on any bicycle.

So what happens when the battery depletes after 5 years?

I must admit, that is EXTREMELY tempting!!!

I’m all for e bikes keeping people riding or allowing people to start riding. But I’m not sure about £10k e bikes or e bikes that don’t look like e bikes. I’d buy one as a spare for no more than £1.5k to help with commutes but wonder when the e doping will start to take the fun out of segment kom hunting.

These bikes will depreciate so quickly just 6 mos later. If you buy one, make sure you hold on to it.

$9000 when Orbea has one for one for 3k and Ribble for $2400 is bold. Even Pinarello is $1000 cheaper.

Cant afford it, but this looks amazing, and would keep me on the bike given my Cardiologist diagnosing me with heart issues that limit me to "low intensity". Perhaps a goal to work towards.

It's rumored Lance Armstrong had a battery hidden away in his bike. Wonder if that's how he was able to win 7 in a row.

who's going to buy an extremely expensive e road/gravel  bike that can only assist up to 15mph or 25kph? Unless you live in the Alps. I regularly ride 28km's to work on a very undulating route and thought this bike was the answer! but looking at my data, my avg speed is usually 32-34kph, sometimes if after a busy night shift into a headwind its down to 30-31kph. Very rarely do I travel below 25kph. So unless the assistance limit can be raised to 40-45kph I cannot see any serious cyclist even contemplating buying these bikes.. And yes I am aware of what is legal\illegal in the UK and Europe, but unless these can be derestricted easily I will not be buying one.

Wow. Just bought a 2019 fastroad e+ $3000 NZD. 45kph assist, 450wh. A creo cost about $12000NZD I believe. Got myself a deal.

Funny how bikes are always measured in pounds but since these are really heavy compared they give the weight in KGs. Why don't they say 30 pounds

Admit it, this is a very confusing product

Never ever buy a specialized e-bike. I bougth a Specialized Turbo S, I think in 2015, so it's not that old. Now the the rear drive has a mechanical problem. Reply from the dealer; it's an old bike and most likely there are no more spare parts. Unlikely that it can be repaired. WHAT, this was a 5000 Euro bike. And now it's ready for the scrap yard ?? First of all not very sustainable and very envirionmental unfriendly. If this turns out unrepairable than never ever a specialized again. I also own a Specialized Epic, one of the first carbon fiber bikes. Drive it already for 25 years.
