Just in case this helps anyone, what solved my problem with it not starting is the spark plug. It was wet. Apparently, according to the repair guy, DO NOT push that prime/purge bulb a bunch of times. That floods it, gets the spark plug wet and it won't start. He pulled the spark plug in my machine (I must've pushed that bulb 20 times) and it was wet. He put a dry one in and although it took a number of times before it started, it finally did - and proceeded to blow a bunch of gas out - because it was flooded! He said to stay away from that bulb, don't listen to YouTube videos that say to push it a number of times because that floods it and it won't start. A dry spark plug solved my start problem.

I got a legend force tiller, use to run like a champ, first pull first start always, today it suddenly started to feel weak with no power and would turn off within 30 seconds to a minute sounding weak after starting it up . Anyone got any idea what the issue could be, Thank you

I've changed my spark plug, taken the Carburator apart and it looked fine too the eye, i can pull the cord and feel it tug against the engine but it won't turn over. I don't have a pump bulb on my model. It's an earthquake brand rototiller medium size. It has sat outside for a season but even with new gasoline it won't start. Pretty desperate since i paid so much for it and only used it once last summer.

Don't use Ethanol gas. I learned that the hard way.

If your tiller engine won't start, it is probably a Mantis !🤣If you want to till, Spend a few extra bucks for a Stihl or Echo !
