Mathews is a great company. Had to leave my Vertix behind when I recently evacuated a country due to an outbreak of civil war. A buddy contacted Mathews, told them the story of how I lost my bow, and Mathews sent me a new replacement bow. I was already going to buy another Mathews anyways, but they've locked me in for life!

I shot mathews for 15 years, but i just switched to bowtech. Simply for the self tuning aspect. I still have the Z7 and switchback and q2. And no cam!! Lol mathews have been my favorite until i shotnthe ss34 by bowtech. But i still bring my no cam as a backup bow hunting out of state. Good luck this coming season! Its coming very quick boys! Cant wait for the videos. Its one of my favorite parts of hunting season os watching my favorite guys kill huge bucks and animals. God bless all 3 of you guys!

Welcome to the family my seek one friends...I also shot Hoyt for 20 years and I too made the switch to Mathews, never had a single issue with Hoyt bows...just was really excited when I shot there new bows..bought it that day and never looked back . Good luck with your future

Congrats! My first bow many moons ago was a PSE. It wasn't top of the line, but it got the job done. Fast forward several years when I was ready to upgrade my equipment (and spend a lot of $), I decided to go with the Switchback XT. It was far and away better than what I had, but I had an experience with that bow that tainted their reputation with me that's been hard to get over. Long story short, sitting in near zero MN weather, I pulled the bow back and heard a gawd awful 'twang'. The bow went immediately to a Mathews shop where it spent some time first trying a new cam, then new limbs, etc to no avail. They finally consulted with Mathews and I was told to strip it down for them to send it back to Mathews. So, I did as instructed and when it came time for the shop to ship it off, they called Mathews to confirm and then the story relayed was 'that is normal'. What a run-around!! Needless-to-say, I took it home and sold it within the week.

Always loved Hoyt. Recently was gifted a Mathews for my birthday and Im beyond excited to shoot it this season. I really enjoyed listening to you guys talk about Mathews and how they treat people.

It's interesting to hear you talk about Mathews as I know you've shot many different bows. I got my dads Mathews switchback and hunted with it for about 5 years before upgrading to the V3 a few years back and have not regretted it.

Respect the change. The only part of this video that I felt was stretched out was about how quiet the bows are. Both are extremely quiet. Shot both the vtm and the phase 4 side by side. Listened to someone else shoot them side by side. Vtm is noticeably the quieter bow of the two.

Also made the swap from Hoyt to Mathews last year. Both quality bows but is very exciting to shoot something different after 15 years with a Hoyt. Good luck and shoot straight!

I currently don’t shoot a Mathews, but after watching this and seeing the devotion you guys have for hunting it’s good to see people talk such highly and confidently about their gear. Sounds like something I just might have to look into myself. Keep putting out the awesome content fellas
