In our inner ear, there are 3 semicircular canals, each at right angles to each other. The canals contain fluid. When your body spins, the fluid in the canals starts moving as well. When you stop moving, the fluid keeps moving, which causes disorientation and general dizziness (the feeling of movement when you’re actually not!)

Jacob made a motorised spin chair to entertain his kids, Mikalah and Samuel.
