You missed a large part of the story (the beginning ) called the Budapest Memorandum where in 1994 Ukraine gave up all it's nuclear weapons for a security deal with the U.S., Great Britain and Russia. It was signed on Dec 5th 1994 and in it we promised to defend Ukraine if they were ever attacked and they gave up all their nukes ! They came through and delivered on their end of the agreement and we did as well. You tell us it's a long and complicated story which is true and to help everyone understand the story you need to start at the beginning not the middle !

Remember the Budapest memorandum from 1994 where USA, UK and Russia commit themselves to protect Ukraines when they handed over their nuclear weapons to Russia. US and UK are just fulfilling their commitments when they support Ukraine.

I wouldn't call anti-war individuals "traitors", so much as I would call them idealists. In this case I would limit the label of traitor to those living in pro-Ukraine nations that stand as pro-Russian.

The U.S. didn't directly overthrow Yanukovich (which only happened after the shooting on the Maidan), though the State Department and many politicians expressed support and rendered aid to the Euromaidan protestors. What level of aid remains unknown. As for Nuland, the conversation was mostly about how to keep the pro-European opposition together without splintering, and united behind a common cause and leader. The presidential aspect was just one part of that, but that snippet of conversation got taken out of context.

It's not just the US. Many other European nations have given Ukraine military aid. And the amount that the US has spent does not include the inevitable supplemental funding request from the US military to replenish depleted weapons stockpiles.

Would be nice to include the Ukrainians in this "tug of war" between East and West. This war will always be about what the majority of Ukrainians want. Don't forget, the West expected Russia to absorb Ukraine in three days, and the West was willing to accept that, for the moment, until Ukraine started fighting back, and told Russia, in no uncertain terms, "we do not choose you."

It seems like people really downplay the prevalence of Soviet-designed weapons in the Ukrainian military. Ukraine has to supply itself with a lot of things that aren't produced anywhere in the West, like 5.45x39 rounds.

It is important to note that while the C-5M super galaxy could fit two M1A2 abrams, a single one would be double the max take-off weight. The C-17 is used to transport those heavier payloads, with the C-5 carrying large, bulky, loads with not as much weight total

i usually don't know much about the specifics of the video but in this case when you said "Victoria Nuland caught on the phone hand picking a new Ukrainian leader" is just blatant misinformation she obviously doesn't just get to chose who a new leader of a country is, she spoke from the position of what would be in the United States' best interest.
