It was super fun to work with Diavkha on this project. Just wanted to say that OF COURSE there are other folks in SL who use the world as an unlimited studio to make comics, graphic novels, what have you. Please feel free to comment here with the names of your project so folks can find out. I was made aware of a series called "The Rotling" which looks awesome too!

I didn't even think about using virtual photography to make comics. It's ingenious. It's a testament to the users creativity in SL and highlights the camera tools available.

Diavkha's work takes comic books to a new level of interactive stories in Second Life. This is a wonderful bit of work. SL is an ideal medium for making comics, and I think that there's layers of marketability here. We have such a huge community of bloggers and photo takers, a movement needs to be made in this direction

Earth's order, customs and laws. It would be exciting to be able to do something like an adventure in a worldview of a planet that is not Earth, where the human way of thinking is different!

I've heard of shows made in SL but not comics. That's pretty cool as someone who does it the old fashioned way, by drawing them. I wonder how some poses would be pulled off, like if someone was knocked through the air and you have to freeze frame. Does he make the animation poses himself or does he find them somewhere else and possibly adjust them?
