Back with my report on Android 12 June patch:
Standby is much improved. Went from about 1.5%/h drain down to 0.6%/h drain. And overall battery life seems better too

I haven't done beta on my phones since Microsoft days with their Lumia phones 😂. I have a coworker who has a Pixel 6 Pro, running on Android 13 beta. All is going well for him. And with this recent video from you, I may give it a try. I have a Pixel 6 around as a backup and maybe use that. As a side note the June update on my Pixel 6 Pro is working snappy and the fingerprint sensor is faster and snappier. 😎

I really hope 3rd party apps gain support for device themes in 13. I'd love a cohesive look through my home screen (which I like to keep minimal)

I don't care about new features, I'm hoping with this update that we get better animations when opening and getting out of apps, I just want my phone to be stable and function properly like apple phones.

A13 beta on P6 is a big difference

13 should be better than 12 rollout wise, 12 had huge under the hood changes. Ive been working with devs on the xda forums to port it over to the lg v20, g5 and g6. It's been a major PIA. It's looking like we may skip 12 and go to 13 so it's nice to see that it doesn't have too many major changes.

A concern with betas is if you don't have a home phone and there is a bug with phone calls say in an emergency.. It's always good to have a backup device. Some may not think of this being we mostly text and email.

Like yourself, I've had very few issues with my Pixel 6. Running Android 13 beta 3 and only using apps from the Google Play Store.

I like the 13 Betas so far. The one thing I wish Google would improve on the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro is the adaptive brightness control. It is way to agressive in terms of dimming the display IMHO. Appreciate all your videos.

Still no face unlock but battery life seems very good.
Still haven't fixed the one bug that's always been there. Using official USB C to 3.5mm dongle since day one on Pixel 6 Pro and overtime it will stop working and require me to restart the phone.
