President Kenyatta: If latest talks fail, we will ‘sort the doctors out’

President Uhuru Kenyatta has warned striking doctors of consequences should the latest round of talks led by religious leaders fail. Speaking in Naivasha as he formally opened the devolution conference, the president said that the government had made the doctors good offers on their demands, offers that he said exceeded what is available in the private sector and insisted that what the doctors were engaging in is blackmail which he would not accept.
