Thank you, Daniel. I bought a new flash set up with 2 Godox flashes and a transmitter. It would not work, the camera kept saying the shutter priority was not set correctly. Your video was the only one I found that said the words "It will not fire in silent mode" - Bingo. After 2 frustrating days searching youtube for a clue - you were the one who fixed it! Many thanks.

took out my R6 and YN flash this weekend and didn't realise that the flash doesn't fire in electronic shutter mode. That completely threw me, thanks for confirming my idiocy!

Question: Does your flash's Laser AF work on your camera?

I have the same camera and the same flash, I work at night parties and it's always very dark, the laser helps me a lot to focus, but it's not working on the R6.
how I do?
