They need to put this as a Easter egg in some future Mob game where you come across an alley and have these two guys with this dialogue

Randomly, my roomie and I will say 'The WHOLE operation is run by Tony Lazudo.... Tony Lazudo???' throughout the day, it makes us laugh every single time.

You laugh, but the NPC's ability to stop talking and then start over was a revolutionary feature. Before that, they'd either 1) finish their line even if they died in the middle of it, or 2) stop their whole dialogue sequence at the slightest disturbance, making it inaccessible to the player forever after.

I'll never forget accidentally starting a fight at sneak level >90, with a low-level NPC literally hitting me with a sword and then immediately going "where are you?"

Idk why, but the npc’s dialogue overlapping each other made me nostalgic
