I used what I learned in this video to make a small application that asks for your name, surname, favourite number, location and mood in order to create a small social media account with a username, bio and location. I've only been learning java for 3 days now and this tutorial series has been my only resource. Thank you for making this series. I know that this comment a tiny bit outdated but I felt obliged to share my positive experience.

Best comprehensive Java tutorial I have seen in 4 years! I have understood more in the past 5 videos about java than I ever had before and I am looking forward to finally doing a deep dive in Java!!!

I really enjoyed this video. I know there are some things that are tough to explain because every new "feature" you talk about is not self-explanatory, but this video clarified very prominent things.

Thanks Caleb!

Caleb. My man. Love the way you present the material. Struggled with Java since first language was Python, thank you for clearing things up. Thanks to you, I know Java and I understand Python more.

"So obviously, typing all these extra words is gonna kill us . . ."
Great video(s), this video was a really good introduction to input and output as compared to most others. Though I am a bit late in the timing of this comment (relative to the publish date of this video.)

OMFG Thank you for doing that. I've been pulling my hair out trying to get "console" to work and finally accepted there must be an actual way to get input that didn't have to do with an io console. Using VSCode for the first time, and just getting it up and running felt like an accomplishment, just to realize that the first, simplest "What is your name?" code would literally never run in it. YEESH.

Thanks for sharing the videos! They are really very helpful and not too long, which is good and kept me awake until the end. The only thing I would like to know if you have any videos for BDD using Java concepts from these videos. I am an Automation Tester and need to learn about writing BDD scenarios and code. Would really appreciate if you can have something in that area as well. Thanks again!
