I kinda like the Carson Dellosa style though in a ''this style needs to be used for some horror media'' way. It perfectly conveys the feeling of a childish and happy place but not in a comforting way but instead more on an overbearing and authoritarian way, where everything is good, until you break the rules.

Now that ya mention it, the funny thing about Betty Boop's face is that she was originally an anthropomorphic dog, much like her boyfriend Bimbo. I don't remember how it happened, but she just became human and that's what stuck, though she kept the same puggishly-shaped head for some reason. I guess people back then just really liked that.

I actually really like that you're just doing whatever you want! I like that its different things and not just videos that relate to eachother. I agree that a lot of those styles are creepy, the Carson Dellose style always freaked me out a bit when i would see it in school on these motivational posters lol.

Tbh I watched a few episodes of Angela Anaconda as a kid and was never really put off by the art style. Maybe because I was always a fan of weird/surreal art, even before I learned about Dadaism in secondary school.
Though looking back on it now, I can *definitely* understand why a lot of people are put off by it.

I think one thing that bothers me the most is the fact that the skin colours of all the characters are this pale grey. They look like ghosts or corpses.

I agree a lot with the uncanny children book styles of "Ü" faces, during elementary school id see them a lot in the classes and books, and also in little religious cards people sold sometimes in the street, they all had that huge goofy ahh smile, sometimes it was like wavy, and all had those souless dilated eyes.
And aside from those the same artstyle for bugs that had NOSES, im open minded about a lot of things and bugs with dot noses aint one of them.
