I think that's why mascots can sometimes feel so creepy. They're made to look friendly and so they have a familiar design, but details like their lifelessness might make the result off-putting.

That shiny/slimy effect on the skin is fascinating! Like I can pick out the white lines as separate drawn out lines, but when I look at the whole picture it all comes together. It is very disturbing. Great tutorial :)
