HOW TO DESTROY THE AVENGER IN NORMAL & HARD MODE - MERRY WEATHER SECURITY
In Project Overthrow, the third mission is On Parade. Here you have to test the new F-160 Raiju.
It's just a test, but one of the toughest missions of the Mercenaries dlc. It consists of three parts. First, you have to fly low through the canyon to stay under the radar. Not the whole canyon, just this area in red. Then, you have to hit targets for a few minutes straight. I recommend to get the Exploding MGs right away because the missiles take a long time to reload. This way, you can take out a lot more targets. And the third part is when the enemy comes in waves. First, helicopters, then a group of P-996 Lazers, and finally, what makes the mission the most challenging, an Avenger. And if you choose hard mode, like in my case, you wil get even two.
Rockstar has given them a lot of armor, so you'll have to shoot at them countless times, but I've found a solution for it. Take them to the windturbines. They follow you everywhere so even there. Just stay low and they will quickly get caught behind one. You can then fire missiles at them from a reasonable distance until they explode. And with some luck, they will take enough hits from the blades that will destroy them.

What I did was use the vtol mode and we just we around in circles while I use missile

when they get stuck in windmill, I used explosive MG my instead of missiles and they die within seconds.

the amount of armor these avengers have is ridiculous... It made this a boring, repetitive and long mission
