How I Fixed My Sagging Floor | My First Renovation

Hey guys! Today I am going to show you how to level a house by fixed a sagging beam in this renovation house. Earlier I had already put shims under the beam to make the floor level at the piers, but fixing the sagging beam still needed to be done. For this fix, I added a new stretch of 2x6 between the existing piers and added a new pier where the old beam joint was located. Now it’s nice and strong. No more sagging!

I bought a 122yr old house and it needs piers underneath. Pier and beam foundation. Was that just a regular footer for like a porch?
