2017 FIAT 500s TwinAir (105hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60FPS)

Today I can present to you the full DRIVE & SOUND with the recently facelifted 2016 / 2017 FIAT 500S TwinAir Turbo powered by a 0.9 liter 2-cylinder petrol engine delivering 105 hp and 145 Nm of torque (1.015kg). It is clearly astonishing that such a small engine can deliver great power for a car. First thing you realize once you jump in is the sporty engine sound and the great pull-through from the mid-rpms. Many other people on the road were not expecting this little "matte-green" 500 to be that fast, speeds up to 200 km/h take long, but are possible:) If you LIKE watching clips like this please don't hesitate to COMMENT / SUBSCRIBE!

Historically we Italians are very attached to the twin-cylinder; it is the engine that in the post-war period allowed us with cars like 500 and "bianchina" to have economically sustainable mobility and consequently to get out of the poverty in which we had sunk. In the following years it became the engine of the first panda, the second all-rounder car for the family. In a way fiat wanted to pay a modern tribute to a piece of life of all Italians.

Five years of twin air ownership and cannot recommend the 850cc twin air enough. Running costs are minimal . Prior to this car I had a succession of Jeeps and finally a Discovery.

I have twin air 2014 and a sport model and it goes like a rocket and no tax and cheap to insure and 60 mpg easy. And it does 0_60 in under 8 seconds. And very stylish inside and out

Great! We have just bought a 2016 500 Twin Air 105 (in Bossa Nova white, looks great) and I'm amazed! OK, it's a bit noisy and 'vibratey' on pullaway, but once you get it in the power band (around 3500 rpm to 5000 rpm, it suddenly shoots forward and always makes me chuckle! Great throaty sound too. I swear that (within its rather narrow power band) it is quicker than our previous car, a Suzuki Swift Sport (1.6l 136 HP).

I can only hope that the twinair will become an option at some point in the U.S. we have the 1.4l 101hp 4 cylinder as the standard engine. Europe always gets the forbidden fruit! love my 500 great little car.
